That journal entry was two days after the Touhoku earthquake and tsunami which ended up taking twenty thousand lives, and still right in the thick of when the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident was heating up. An interesting time to suggest that seeing the evil in the world is seeing the evil in ourselves!

Thanks for flagging that! I didn't record specifically what prompted the entry, but that—or people's reaction to it—must have been it.

It just sort of jumped out at me. I was in Japan at the time, 3/11/11 became one of those days to remember.

Synchronicity alert, I just saw a few minutes ago that there was an earthquake in Turkey/Syria that so far has clocked 11,000 deaths, making it the most deadly earthquake in "roughly a decade"-- Japan's 3/11 presumably being the prior. (Of course, both get surpassed completely by the crazy 2004 earthquake and tsunami that took out over 200,000.) Anyway, the earthquake occurred on 2/6, the same day you posted this.

Also a synchronicity, though hopefully a relatively meaningless one: just today, my wife told me in worried tones that a psychic who had successfully predicted 3/11 (I can't help it, the ex-skeptic in me doubts this) has predicted that there will be a mega-quake in Japan that will surpass it in July of 2025. Just bookmarking that here, I guess I'll come back here and tell you how that went in August 2025... if I'm still around to tell the tale!

Interesting synchronicity!

I am also reminded that seismologists anticipate an earthquake that will level the coastal Pacific Northwest. I suppose when there are so many people all over the place, any disaster is a big disaster.

I went ahead an added an all god is good tag to my blog here—this is something I think about often, and it is well worth remembering that Mars (violence) and Saturn (death) are no less divine, and no less good, than the rest! "Why," then, becomes very valuable meditation-fodder.

Would the psychic by Ryo Tatsuki, by chance? I'm seeing a lot of chatter around concerning her prophecy, which I suppose isn't surprising given that it's drawing close. I've also seen a lot of people reporting tsunami dreams (both in Magic Monday and elsewhere), but I don't know the arrow of causality on any of that.

Various astrologers are warning of particularly difficult astrological conditions over the next couple months, especially as Saturn and Neptune get very close to conjunct (12') at 2° Aries on 15 July.

I've seen no particular warnings, myself, and indeed my year reading is more generally positive than any of the readings over the last five or six years that I've been doing them... but on the other hand I live almost seven hundred miles from the nearest coast and more than a mile above sea level, so tsunamis are not high on the list of things I think about...
