Hindsight is 20-20

I always do daily geomantic readings in order to prepare me for the day ahead. Sometimes these are really helpful, but other times I don't think there was any way to know ahead of time just what was going to transpire.
A few months ago, I got a daily chart that had Tristitia (the symbol of earth, or metaphorically of sorrow) connecting the sixth house (usually of health) and ninth house (of faraway things, or metaphorically of higher education, religion, or spiritual practices). Would ill health make my spiritual practices for the day difficult? I felt fine when I did the reading...
Later in the day, I went on a prayer walk (as I often do, at least when the weather is nice). Down the hill from my house there is a stream, and as I passed it I noticed a little garden snake sunning itself on a culvert overlooking it. I got closer to get a better look and the snake, seeing me, started so severely that it flung itself over the edge into the water, being swept away in an instant. In that moment it was obvious: Tristitia is also the symbol of "descent," and the sixth house is also the house of "beings below one in the social hierarchy," and metaphorically of small animals. What had just occurred was an extremely literal interpretation of "descent linking small animals with spiritual practice."
A similar thing happened today: I got Amissio (the symbol of loss, or metaphorically of generosity) connecting the second house (of money and moveable property) and eighth house (of death, or metaphorically of spirits). What on earth could that mean? That I'd give something up to the spirit world?
Well, sure enough, later in the day I opened a bottle of wine, and I always offer the first glass of a bottle to my deity in thanks. When I opened the bottle, though, it exploded (due to excessive carbonation), causing quite a mess, and of course causing the loss of both wine and offering. And then I realized that the eighth house is also the second house from the seventh (of partners), and therefore also the house of my deity's property, and what had occurred was, again, an extremely literal interpretation of "loss linking my property with my deity's property."
