There is a spectrum for this kind of thing. I have heard that people who are frantically busy all the time experience short days but have long years; People who live in Monasteries and contemplate a lot experience long days but have short years.
To further complicate things, our time perception seems to have a denominator that is the total amount of time we have been alive. So when you are five years old, Summer Vacation lasts for about 2 years! When you are 20, a month takes about a month to get through. When you are 60, a month lasts about 2 days.
