(
tunesmyth, this is primarily directed at you!)
The first mother/house represents you and the second mother/house represents anything you hold close.
In a physical sense, the second mother/house represents your physical assets, whether money, possessions, advisors, or guides. So it makes sense that the first niece/ninth house represents anything that takes resources, logistics, and time to attain: education, a skill, travel experience, etc.
In a metaphysical sense, the second mother/house represents your spiritual assets, whether your beliefs, your worldview, or your most privately kept secrets. So it makes sense that the first niece/ninth house represents anything is shaped by these: religion, spirituality, dreams, etc.
Consequently, the first triplicity as a whole represents anything that can be "carried with you," whether physically, mentally, or spiritually. Your stuff, your knowledge, your beliefs, your religion. It's your toolkit: that which arms or prepares you to take on or experience the wider world generally.

Date: 2021-01-18 09:52 am (UTC)Okay, so far so good! That’ll be one down, just three left to go! :-)
...Seriously, it’s probably just my messiah complex speaking here, but as I see it, if we (er, you?) manage to crack this code, it could completely transform the practice of western geomancy. But no pressure or anything!

Date: 2021-01-18 10:44 am (UTC)Ha! Thank you, but I've been at the meditation game long enough to know what my meditations are worth: very much to me, but nothing to anyone else. This is the curse of the mystic: that experiences cannot be communicated in mere words, but only hinted at to those who have begun to experience likewise. For my meditations to be worth anything to anyone else, they must meditate on it and make it their own! And even assuming I am on to something, I'm neither the charismatic speaker, nor are we living in that peculiarly mindful time, for my thoughts to go so far as you suppose. :)

But a unified theory of Shield and House-- should such a thing be indeed possible-- seems to promise an extra level of richness to Geomancy. Taking a form of divination which is already notable for allowing a 3D view of an image (given the binocular vision of the court and the fractal minicourts in the Shield Chart) but also allowing one to walk freely about that 3D environment and inspect it from all angles in the House.
It is very late here and I sense I may be babbling. :-)
Anyway, let's keep at this! This is a tree with some magical fruit.
