Interesting that the first part above corresponds in some ways with some of the "common conceptions" that barefootwisdom mentioned early on in this sequence of posts, but in reference to God and the good. This time this kind of reasoning (better/worse, etc.) is applied to the Cosmos itself and the creation, as reflecting on the nature of the maker.
