I hope [1] isn't the case, since I would hope philosophers are better than taking jabs at their ideological enemies, but it wouldn't be the first time! Ironic, I suppose, that my own education was explicitly Christian, and I consider it to have been a very poor foundation for both my mundane and spiritual lives. I suppose some things never change!
