This is quite fascinating! It reminds me a lot of the (meta) structure of computer programming too. You have: binary - The ones and zeroes. VERY fast, but hard to manipulate.
Machine language - still ultra-fast, nearly unlimited capabilities for programming, yet real drudgework to do even a very simple thing with it. For a very specialized application that needs the speed, you may have to slog through and write the function in machine language.
Computer languages -- like C, C++, etc.
Functions -- Code in a language that is frequently used in a variety of apps.
Function libraries
Programs or Apps.
So yes! It is totally awesome that when we study the occult, we think we are heading straight in the opposite direction from physics and all STEM subjects, and then it turns out we arrive right at the roots of reality!
As children, my brother and I would each find a rubber band and stick one hand under the blanket on the bed. We would put the rubber band over the blanket-hand's wrist and presto! A blanket puppet! You then use your blanket puppet to bite at the other blanket puppet and try to flip his rubber band off before he flips off your rubber band. One time, we drew faces on our blanket puppets with a magic marker. Of course, this made Mom furious because the eyes and scary teeth stayed on the blanket when the game was over.
Since then, I sometimes think that you, I and all of us are temporary blanket puppets, pulled up from the ground substance of the Universe. When we return all to the universe, we will (hopefully!) have enriched the blanket --EG
