I actually tried scoring my charts over the last week each day according to the Astrological ranking you posted at Conjunctio. There was one perfect test day, last Friday, which by that ranking would have been a minorly bad day, but had four Fortuna Majors in it. As it turned out, it was a quite excellent day; not only that, but it was particularly positive in ways characterized by how I see Fortuna Major, in that it was my own efforts and moments of leadership that made it so rewarding. So definitely in line with the "traditional" (at least according to JMG's APOG) descriptions of the characters.
That said, whether and to whichever degree astrology plays a part in our personal relationships with the characters, I can definitely see ways that certain personalities would mesh better with some characters than with others. For instance, your positive relationship with Amissio makes a great deal of sense to me; likewise, I understand why Acquisitio seems to be desired by more people.
