Sorry I didn’t reply to you on the other thread, but all you said I found fascinating! Even a bit intimidating, I sometimes get some ego points by saying that I program clusters in C++ but I am nowhere near a seasoned programmer.
Not precisely the same thing, but at least since the time of Plato mathematics was used as a spiritual means, so says on an essay by Rudolf Steiner which can be found readily online Mathematics and Occultism The argument being to emancipate thought from sense perception, that way approaching the World of Ideas by purifying ones vehicle to get there, our minds, from the thought patterns permeated with sensory data. That makes a great deal of sense to me, and to yogis too apparently which call and induce this state, pratyahara. Therefore I think by getting to train ourselves to get into that absorbed state which mathematics and algorithms can take us, we can train ourselves to experience worlds beyond the physical. That said, if you would like to discuss algorithms in detail, I always have my copy of Cormen book on it handy.
