I apologize if the transliterations of names which I use are unfamiliar, but I've grown disgusted with the Latinized forms which have taken precedence in English, since they encourage people to badly mispronounce the names. The poster child for this is Circe, which most English speakers pronounce SUR-see, but which should be more like KEER-keh.

Many of these names have dialectal variations. Apollon and Athenaie are the Homeric forms of those two.
